Refund and Cancellation Policy

How class cancellations, missed classes, plan cancellations, class credits and refund requests are handled at Pro Quran Tutor.

This policy explains how Pro Quran Tutor handles class cancellations, missed classes, class credits, attendance disputes, plan cancellations and refund requests.

Please contact us as early as possible if you need to change a class or have a question about a payment.

Cancelling or Rescheduling a Class

Students, parents or guardians should cancel or request to reschedule a class as early as possible.

To cancel a class without losing the class credit, at least 12 hours' notice is required.

Where sufficient notice is provided, the class credit can remain available for future scheduling in accordance with the family's active plan and academy arrangements.

A cancellation made with less than 12 hours' notice is treated as a late cancellation and the class credit is normally used.

If the Teacher or Academy Cancels

If a class is cancelled by the teacher or Pro Quran Tutor, the family does not lose the class credit for that class.

The academy will take reasonable steps to reschedule the class or keep the relevant credit available.

Missed Classes and No-Shows

A class may be treated as a no-show where the student does not join the scheduled class and the teacher was available to teach.

A student no-show uses the class credit.

Students and families should therefore contact the academy as soon as possible if they know they will be unable to attend.

Technical Problems

If a class cannot take place because of a significant technical problem, the academy will review what happened before deciding how the class and credit should be recorded.

Technical problems may include serious issues with:

  • The online class service.
  • Internet connectivity.
  • The academy system.
  • Access to the scheduled class.
  • Other technical circumstances that prevent the lesson from taking place.

A technical issue does not automatically mean that a class credit will be used.

Attendance Records

Teachers record attendance for scheduled classes.

If you believe an attendance record is incorrect, you may challenge it through your academy account or contact Pro Quran Tutor.

An attendance record may be challenged for up to 48 hours after the class.

After that period, the attendance record may be treated as settled unless there is a reasonable reason for the academy to review it.

Class Credits

Class credits represent classes available to a family under the relevant plan or billing arrangement.

A class credit is normally used when:

  • A scheduled class takes place.
  • A student does not attend a scheduled class and is recorded as a no-show.
  • A class is cancelled with less than the required 12 hours' notice.

A class credit is not normally used when:

  • The teacher cancels the class.
  • Pro Quran Tutor cancels the class.
  • The academy determines that circumstances justify restoring or preserving the credit.

Cancelling a Plan

A parent, guardian or adult student may contact Pro Quran Tutor if they wish to stop an active plan.

Where a plan has a future renewal, cancelling the plan stops the applicable future renewal once the cancellation has been processed.

Classes or credits that have already been paid for may continue to be used during the applicable paid period, subject to the terms of the plan and academy arrangements.

Cancelling a plan does not automatically create a refund for classes or services that have already been provided.

Refund Requests

If you believe that a payment was made incorrectly or that a refund may be due, please contact Pro Quran Tutor.

Refund requests will be reviewed according to the circumstances, including:

  • The payment concerned.
  • Classes or services already provided.
  • Classes or credits already used.
  • Any duplicate or incorrect payment.
  • The reason for the refund request.
  • Any applicable legal requirements.

Where a refund is approved, Pro Quran Tutor will confirm the refund method and any relevant processing information.

We do not promise a specific refund processing period unless that period has been confirmed for the payment method being used.

Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe you have been charged more than once or an incorrect amount has been paid, please contact us with enough information for us to identify the payment.

The academy will review the payment record and take appropriate action where an error is confirmed.

Please do not send passwords, full card details or other unnecessary sensitive financial information by email or ordinary messages.

Payment Provider Charges

Where a bank or external payment provider applies its own transaction, currency-conversion or other charges, those charges may be outside Pro Quran Tutor's control.

Any refund of third-party fees will depend on the relevant provider's own rules.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur.

Where appropriate, Pro Quran Tutor may review a cancellation, missed class or credit decision individually.

Any exception should be recorded consistently and does not automatically change the policy for future classes.
